    How I made them
    When I made the first ever version of these cufflinks, I took two circles from a sheet of solid platinum and used a small hammer to forge them into dish shapes. Separately, I made a perfectly fitting circular collar for each disc and then soldered this together forever to make the button. Finally I shaped 18ct yellow gold to look like perfect golden threads, and looped this gold into the platinum to complete the perfect button.
